Lake Week

Our week at the cabin started out a little chilly and smelly (there is a skunk living out there somewhere). But it warmed up and we had a nice calm lake for the week, which made for lots of tubing and fun. I didn't get any pics from the Feldewerd visit (too busy gabbing), but that is one of my favorite parts of the week. Hanging out with an old friend (not that we are old, just that we've been friends since 1st grade) and watching our boys all play together like they see each other all the time.

Jacob has become a pro at skipping rocks and even tough Gavin and another friend to do it too.

The boys on the tube. On Sunday already, Fred flipped Gavin off the tube with a couple neighbor kids and that was about the end of his tubing. He tried a couple times, but was spooked by any sort of waves.

Jacob mastered the paddleboard and kayak on the last day. I'm guessing he'll put in a lot more time on those before summer is over.
