Tattoo Artist

Wyatt is all about tattoos currently. He loves to have tattoos all over him and then he adds his own artwork when ever he gets hold of a marker. I tried to catch him in the act of coloring himself, but he's such a ham as soon as he hears me and sees the camera he says "cheese!".

Wyatt is also getting his eye teeth, which is interfering with his sleep and causing him to be a bit fiestier than usual. Oy ve! He loves going outside, hates coming inside. Loves jumping and climbing and blowing bubbles. He loves to go, go, go and doesn't stop.

Back to School

Yeah for back to school! Summer flew by and we all survived, but we were all ready for a break from each other.

 

Jacob started 2nd grade on September 4th. He has Mrs Kocka this year and a number of friends in his class, so it looks likes its going to be a fun year. Its going to be lots of reading (20 mins a night) and homework most nights, so let the battles begin.

Gavin went back to preschool on September 10th. He has his same teachers as last year - Ms Anne and Ms Debbie, but he is staying for full days (9-3) Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. Hoping to ramp him up for full-day kindergarten next year.

Wyatt got to start ECFE on September 14th. This is his first "school" experience and he seemed to love it. I knew a few of the moms in the class, so I loved it too. We seperate for a while during the class and when we returned he was sitting listening to "Brown Bear" very attentively - so cute!

I also started school this fall - but no one took my back to school photo. I am taking an on-line Calculus class thru Normandale Community College. My first on-line class and my fellow "classmates" are mostly post-secondary high-school kiddos. I am twice their age! I am just slightly nervous about this whole adventure towards an Actuary degree, which will take 4 years and a whole lot of work. Wish me luck!
