2nd Place in Chanhassen

Finally a win for the Chaska 6C in the first round of a tournament and another in the second round meant they were playing for 1st place in the 3rd round. Came up short in the last game and ended up with 2nd place. So fun to watch these boys "click" and hustle and get a couple wins.

Early Shoveling

Jacob was out early and shoveled the whole driveway without being asked and without any help. He thought his basketball game was at 9 am, but it's at 9 pm. Now he has all day to recuperate from his shoveling before his basketball game.

40th Birthday Weekend

I turned 40 and Fred gave me a super fun weekend full of friends and family, oh and there was basketball in there too.

We started out on Friday evening with friends at Dick's Last Resort at the MOA. This was my birthday request. I didn't know we were going to whoop it up all night and then stay at the Radisson Blue. Fred actually whooped it up way more than me. I guess since I am older and wiser, I knew better than to go crazy when we had multiple basketball games to take in the next day.

Fred was the instigator, or that's what Curt and Kyle claimed. They were all feeling it the next day.

The next day I took in basketball games for Gavin & Jacob while Fred recuperated at home. Then that evening we headed back to the hotel and met up with my family. Surprise! We went out to eat at Chevy's and then took a Hummer limo around the SE metro to see Christmas lights.

Of course to make my birthday complete, we had DQ ice cream cake. 

That's 40 fingers instead of candles. Fred will have to pitch in with the fingers next year...
