Fred took the boys sledding today. Jacob got a snowboard for Christmas and has been out on it a number of times, never to the Jonathan sledding hill where kids build a bunch of jumps/bumps. I guess he'd tried the jump a few times without serious injury, but then tried it again and landed on his shoulder and broke his collarbone. He'll be in a sling for a few weeks and that's the end of his basketball season.

We made it almost 9 years without a broken bone. So glad to have the emergency care center in town.
