We celebrated Gavin's birthday in Melrose with some relatives on February 8th. Grandmas and Grandpas made it as did Alyssa and Isaac. Adrea planned to make the party, but we'd given her the stomach bug earlier in the week and she was down for the count on that Saturday. Luckily she recovered in time for her trip to New York. But anyway, we got together at John Dough's for pizza, cake, and presents.

The next day we celebrated Gene & Mary Ann's 50th wedding anniversary with mass at St Mary's, where Fred sang with Chad, and then dinner and a party at the Greenwald Pub.
