As a newly 1 year old, Gavin is completely walking. He can get up in the middle of the floor and take off. He loves to "race" around with Jacob, while I say "be careful, be careful" as I am sure that any moment Jacob will knock Gavin down and into some piece of nearby furniture. Gavin just laughs. He is still loving the phones. He says mom, dad, hi ("ha"), pup, and shakes his head no. He loves to be loud and knock block towers over. He can be quite silly. He still has a bottle, he loves it and I don't know how I am going to get him to give it up. Wish me luck!
We were in Melrose for New Year's. Fred invited his siblings over to his parents' house, while his parents went to another party. We hung out and played "Carbels", a card game popular in certain crowds in Stearns county, and ate a lot of great appetizers. Jacob stayed up until midnight and blew his noisemaker like a pro.
We have been getting used to our regular schedule again. Back to preschool, MOPS, playgroup, Tot Time at the Chaska Community center gym, and all the fun stuff. We are looking forward to going to Sesame Street Live on Saturday with the Rosenbergers. Jacob has went the last 2 years and really liked it and I am guessing he will again and Gavin will love all the music and action too.
