Fred wants to take each boy for a trip before their senior year. Jacob flippantly said he wanted to go where there were more moose than people, so they headed to Maine. Since Acadia, a national park, is out there, me and the boys tagged along for the first few days. Then Jacob & Fred continued on to a few other states and golf courses.
Acadia is beautiful. A variety of trails (we didn't do anything risky, this mama can't handle watching her kids do that) and lakes and ocean views.

Roadside lobster stop - Jacob & Fred got full lobsters, probably won't do that again - lots of work & you have to be careful for the poop trail.
Jacob & Fred snuck away for a quick few holes of golf while the rest of us enjoyed some pool time.
