Boston

Fred and I took an anniversary (late) trip to Boston over Father's Day Weekend. We stayed in the historic Park House Hotel and managed to avoid any ghosts. We enjoyed wandering around the city and soaking up all the history.

Our first stop was the Sam Adam's brewery. FYI - the picture on the bottle is not of Sam Adam's.

We toured Fenway Park - very interesting tour and fun history of the team and stadium.

We checked out the city views from they Skywalk Observatory on top of the Prudential Center.

We made our way to Cheers and I met Diane (or her cardboard cut out).

Fred and I at Cheers, the bar the TV show was based on.

Maybe the favorite part of the trip for me was the whale watching cruise. We got to watch a whale breach and show us her tale. It was very cool and a bit eerie to be so close to something so huge.

We did the Freedom Trail walk and the hop-on/hop-off bus tour. We toured the old State House and Paul Revere's house. We made it out to Harvard and wandered around the campus and surrounding area. We also took a boat tour on the Charleston River. We had drinks at "The Last Harrah" bar where Babe Ruth used to hang out. We had a seafood dinner at a local place and stopped at a nearby brewery.

Fred needed a picture at the Garden, it was under construction and it was a rainy day, so it wasn't an easy feat.
