Jacob on the mound
I have missed Jacob's first couple turns at pitching, as I was coaching Wyatt's soccer each time he'd pitched. But tonight, I finally got to witness his talents. The first inning he pitched, he threw 11 pitches, 10 were strikes. He struck out 2 batters, the other batter hit the ball back towards Jacob and he threw it to first for the out. His second inning he pitched to 5 batters. 2 strike outs and no runs scored. He also had a nice double his first time at bat. A good night of baseball with a win for the Sand Gnats, even more impressive after he spent all day at park camp in 90 degree heat.
