We haven't been to Melrose in a while. Basketball season kept us busy and left us little time to head north. But last weekend was Easter weekend, so we made the trip up to Melrose. On Saturday Alyssa hosted a quick Easter Egg hunt for the kids. They all had fun finding their eggs.

We spent some time at Jill & Jim's house in the afternoon playing cards. Fred continued on to Donavon & Cindy's house, while I brought the boys back to Melrose to dye eggs with Maddie & Isaac.
On Sunday we went to early (7 am) service and had breakfast at church. We returned to the Middendorfs to find what the Easter bunny had left for the boys. Then I went to Springfield with mom to hang out with Grandma Lyd who was in the hospital for pneumonia. I got to have brunch with my uncle and spend quiet time with Grandma before my boys arrived to visit and take me home.
