Jacob got to take first communion on Maundy Thursday. He had taken a little class and made a communion cup to enjoy his first experience. Grandma and Grandpa Middendorf, Grandma Jeske (Grandpa was feeling up to it), Adrea and Tim came to share this moment with Jacob. He's been a bit disappointed at our absence from our church since his first communion, as he hasn't gotten to take second communion yet.

Since First Communion was held on Maundy Thursday and the service ends somberly with everyone leaving quietly, we didn't get more pictures with others at church.
