Christmas 2020

 Pretty low key Christmas in 2020. Jeske's still gathered at Grandma Nancy's house (after a wintery drive to Melrose), but G & G Middendorf made the rounds to each house to celebrate separately.

Fall Fun

Continuation of "Quarentine", but we still found ways to have fun.

Fred snuck off on a boys' weekend.

Halloween = masks (& outdoors), so Thor & this Scary Clown (Quinn) headed out trick or treating.

Couldn't go out many places - but Feed my Starving Childrens still needed help.

We also made it to many light shows in December - Valleyfair, Severs, State Fair, & Arboretum. And a few other houses too.

44!

Got real crazy for my 44th & went to volunteer @ Feed My Starving Children, and had ice cream cake!

 

Back to School - 4 days/Hybrid/Full Distance Learning

 Wyatt got to go back to school on September 8th. Gavin got to go back on the 11th, going 2 days a week in person. Jacob was at home full time until the end of September, then he got to go in 2 days a week too.All of them had "distance learning" on Wednesdays. Fred had already headed back into the office in August, and I headed back to work before school started.

Band looked a little different during COVID:

Both instrument & player had to be masked.

Marching band didn't get to play at Football games like normal, but they had a lovely performance in the freezing snow in October.

Football Season

 Wyatt was super dissappointed in 3rd grade when they discontinued tackle football for 3rd graders, so he was very ready to get going in 4th grade. He got to play center a bit and had a couple gos at running the ball. He was pretty fierce on defense.

Girls Weekend

 COVID kept us close to home for our annual Girls Getaway. We made a short escape to the cabin and ventured out to Holdingford one day. We enjoyed time to catch up and relax.

Wyatt's 10th Birthday

We celebrated Wyatt's birthday a few times. First when we were up in Melrose @ the Rosenbergers. Then Auntie Dre & Uncle Tim brought him fun treats on his birthday. Finally Quinn & Wyatt celebrated his birthday with a trip to SkyZone, and more cake.
